IUCN Local Action Summit

This summit is structured around 4 main parts:

  • The first three parts are organised around three types of territories defined according to the nature that characterises each one. What nature-based solutions are appropriate for each? With which kinds of partners can these be implemented?
  • The fourth and final part will be dedicated to "Finance & Governance for Local Action”..

The Summit program will be prepared by 4 webinars. These will show what subnational governments are doing, how they evaluate their action, and how to ensure that these exemplary actions are generalized to accelerate momentum and build together the Future we want. More than a technical presentation of nature-based solutions, these webinars and this Summit aim to identify which types of governance and financing modes can be mobilised per type of project.
