Philippe Jacob
Head of Biodiversity Division - City of Paris
Philippe Jacob is a trained ethologist, specialised in animal communication and sociobiology. At the City of Paris, he first coordinated the environmental education centre called Paris-Nature for many years. From 2005 onwards, in order to support Paris' policy in favour of sustainable development, he participated in the coordination and implementation of the biodiversity strategy. This led to the participatory development of the 1st (2011) and then the 2nd Paris Biodiversity Plan 2018-2024 / 2030. The Biodiversity Division steers the implementation of the entire action programme with the various partners in the area.
